sitemap.xml Generator
Private by design — runs entirely in your browser
Paste a list of URLs and the tool builds a valid sitemap.xml, ready to drop at /sitemap.xml on your site. Optional changefreq, priority and lastmod per URL.
What is the input format
One URL per line. After the URL you may add three optional space-separated fields: changefreq (always/hourly/daily/weekly/monthly/yearly/never), priority (0.0–1.0), and lastmod (YYYY-MM-DD).
What defaults do empty fields get
Missing changefreq becomes "weekly", missing priority becomes 0.5, missing lastmod becomes today’s ISO date. All values are quoted for XML, so & and < are safe.
Does Google honour priority and changefreq
Google states priority and changefreq are hints rather than strict directives, but Bing and other engines still read them. Filling them in costs nothing and helps lesser-known crawlers.
